Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)

WBENC, founded in 1997, is the largest third-party certifier of business owned, controlled and operated by women in the United States. WBENC, a national 501 (c) (3) non-profit, partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its national standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country. National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)

The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) provides a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned businesses. NMSDC was chartered in 1972 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes. Infinite Corporation completed its certification with NMSDC in 2010. California Public Utilities Commission Supplier Clearinghouse (CPUCCSC)

In may 1988, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) issued General Order 156 (GO 156). Under GO 156, the CPUC required all investor-owned electric, gas, water and telecommunication utility companies with gross annual revenues in excess of $25 million and their regulated subsidiaries and affiliates, to develop and implement programs to increase the utilization of WMBES. Procurement goals of 5% for women, 15% for minorities were initially established and later expanded to include a goal of 1.5% for service-disabled veterans.

Certification of eligible suppliers was designed to encourage, recruit and, and utilize WMBE's to participating utilities. The Clearinghouse is a commission-supervised entity whose primary purpose is to audit and verify the status of WMBE's with whom they do business. US Small Business Administration (SBA)

Since its founding on July 30, 1953, the US Small Business Administration has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses.
