Infinite partners with Kyndryl to expand its IBM i exit program

February 18, 2026 — Infinite Corporation

Infinite Corporation today announced an expanded system-integrator program anchored by a new partnership with Kyndryl, the world's largest provider of IT infrastructure services. Together the companies will deliver repeatable, fixed-scope IBM i modernization across Kyndryl's enterprise accounts, combining Infinite's rehosting technology with Kyndryl's global delivery scale and managed-services footprint.

Under the partnership, Infinite supplies the deep IBM i engineering — recompiling RPG, COBOL, CL, and DDS to native Linux and migrating DB2/400 data to MySQL — while Kyndryl owns the client relationship, the target cloud infrastructure, and ongoing operations. The model turns what has historically been a bespoke, high-risk project into a standardized engagement that can be run identically across many accounts, from small shops to estates of hundreds of programs.

The expanded program adds co-delivery support, white-label options, and joint enablement so that system integrators can offer IBM i modernization without first building specialized RPG and DB2 expertise in house. "Kyndryl manages some of the largest remaining IBM i estates in the world," said Dr. Bruce Acacio of Infinite Corporation. "Pairing their scale with a repeatable rehosting method gives those clients a credible, low-risk path off Power — and gives integrators a practice they can deliver again and again."

Infinite Corporation reports more than 100,000 installations across 56 countries, including public-sector migrations. The company and Kyndryl will begin joint engagements with a set of early accounts before broadening availability through Kyndryl's delivery organization.
